Dr. Mostafa Hassan, MBBCh

Following his graduation from Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University in Egypt, Dr Hassan embarked on a  career path as a Neuropsychiatrist with focus in Cognitive Disorders.

Driven by a passion for advancing medical knowledge, he transitioned his focus from Clinical Medicine to the specialised realm of Clinical Research. In 2015, Dr Hassan commenced his journey at Northwestern University, Department of Neurology and Psychiatry as a Clinical Trials Specialist where he worked in over 40 Sponsor initiated Clinical Trials until 2021.

Since joining Re:Cognition Health in 2021, Dr Hassan has played an integral role in the execution of more than 20 clinical trials focused on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and other Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders. This extensive experience has been garnered through his tenure as a dedicated Neuropsychiatrist by training and an experienced Researcher.

Currently holding the position of Director of Clinical Trials, USA at Re:Cognition Health, Dr Hassan is entrusted with the oversight of all Re:Cognition Health, USA sites. A role which demands a fusion of clinical expertise and managerial acumen, to  navigate the complexities of trial coordination, ensuring the seamless integration of clinical processes and the achievement of project objectives.
