Our brains are the key to who we are
The memory clinic package includes an interview and cognitive examination by a specialist doctor and a set of investigations designed to identify a wide range of possible causes of memory difficulties. The doctor will explain the findings of all tests with you once your assessment has been completed.
Who will I see?
You will see a medical consultant who is a recognised cognitive expert. All of our consultants hold or have previously held senior NHS consultant posts.
Is the the memory clinic package suitable for you ?
- The memory clinic assessment package is suitable for people in mid or later life who are experiencing significant memory difficulties and who wish to understand the reason for this
- It is also suitable for those in mid- and later life who are interested in the current health of their brain and what they can do to reduce the risk of memory loss and dementia in the future
- The memory clinic package may not be suitable for people with complex physical or mental health problems
- If you are not sure if the memory clinic package is right for you, speak to one of our staff who will be able to advise whether this, or a different service within Re:Cognition Health, would be the most suitable choice for you
